Updated Version of Starcrossed: Perigee

NewsI’ve recently updated the Amazon and Smashwords versions of Starcrossed: Perigee. The updates address some formatting and grammar issues. I am working on getting Amazon to email customers who’ve bought the book to give them a link to where the update can be downloaded. As I understand it, the updates don’t automatically go to your kindle – you have to manually go to your book list online and click the update button.

I hope you like the new and improved version! To those who only have a pirated version of Starcrossed: Perigee (and there are A LOT of them – I’ve looked!) I’m afraid you’re out of luck as I didn’t update those!

Things I’ve learned in the past 5 years

Lucky for me the past 5 years haven’t been entirely wasted. Here’s some things I’ve learned since I first published.

I guess if you’re a reviewer you have every right to say whatever you like about it, but hey, how about realising there’s a real human being behind the production of these works – with real feelings. I was lucky enough to have some really awesome book bloggers who reviewed my book and even  though they had both positive praise and criticism, they always made that criticism constructive and it didn’t hurt a bit. I took a good look at their concerns and I’ve been working on doing better ever since. Continue reading Things I’ve learned in the past 5 years

At Long Last…

notesI know depression has been brought out into the open lately and it seems many people succumb to it. Depression doesn’t let you remember the useful person you used to be and any feeble attempts you try to be that creative person again is met by your own unrelenting criticism of all that you are and all that you do. Any negative feedback from anyone is magnified beyond proportion and you are left crippled by relentless low self esteem. I wouldn’t say it left me an empty shell – I was full to the brim with sadness and self loathing. Continue reading At Long Last…

New and Improved

New and ImprovedWhy? Because, as I said, I’m an amateur and had no idea  how to find the compromised scripts, and really, no interest in finding them anyway.

I have been very slack and haven’t updated this site in years, so I wasn’t losing much of my own stuff, although I was very sad to lose all the lovely comments from readers who took the time to contact me about my work. So, this time it is all new and squeaky clean.
